Your examples are not what I was thinking about (or had given examples
of) which was abuse of the power to appoint judges.  But never mind for
now.

I've not seen what the statute of limitations is for election fraud,
which is what NY DA seems to be looking at.  Do you know for certain?

Nor have I seen any such reporting -- but it is plausible.

Who is the "they" in that paragraph?  GA and NY are independent
juristictions and what one does has no bearing on the other.
