The peanut gallery, including several leftist groups, has a collective freak out. While many decide that peaceful protests are the most effective way to express their growning distrust of police practices, many cities erupt in violence and looting that is often *not* aimed at authorites but rather at private business owners. Several politicians seem to support their outrage and, while some condem the violence, others refuse to do so and a few even seem to indicate that it is warranted. The cop involved is eventually found guilty when the evidence, including body cam and cell phone footage, and testimony that aide was offered and refused by police, proves beyond a shadow of a doubt he is guilty... an outcome that would likely have been reached without all of the violence that followed the incident. 2023: Chase Allan, a self-proclaimed "American State National" who, like George Floyd, has had previous run-ins with authorities, is pulled over by police. Mr. Allan, like Mr. Floyd, refuses to cooperate with police. After Mr. Allan refuses to exit his vehicle, backup units arrive, and one of the cops yells "Gun! Gun! Gun!" Mr. Allan is shot 12 times and dies in police custody. According to CBS News, 4 of the 5 officers on the scene had been with the police force for less than a year. Body cam footage, which shows Mr. Allan holding a cell phone, does not apparently support police claims that he was reaching for a gun. After the shooting, it is revealed that an empty holster was found on Allan's body, and a gun was found on the floorboard of the car. It is also later revealed that, although the first officer claims it started as a routine traffic stop, the backup units may have requested several blocks before the vehicle was pulled over. So I guess another Summer of leftist rioting is in order? * SLMR 2.1a * --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
