There were no spending bills involved; Trump had a deal with Mexico that
enabled us to have a functional border, until Biden cancelled it. Trump allowed
the Alaska pipeline (to get our oil from Alaska to the contiguous states) but
Biden cancelled it in favor of foreign oil dependency.
