Why in the world does it make any difference to you if there's a preferred
pronoun field? Just don't fill it out, or if you can't submit a form
without it, then put "he/his". It literally makes no difference to you,
since you know your pronouns.

It makes no difference to you, but it can be the difference between life
and death for a trans person. Though from your comments here, I'm guessing
that you don't believe that trans-people deserve to live.
