The US favored some groups over others during the 60s and 70s. College
students, for example, could avoid conscription. Mega-conservative icon Ted
Nugent allegedly avoided consription by sh!tt!ng his pants.

I think that the getting paid part is pretty important.

I don't deny said history. I question whether said history constitutes
slavery.
