Writers of fiction can literally write anything they want. They make up the
stories and can make them lead wherever they want them to.

Texas, too, is no stranger to conservative attempts to ban books. Despite all
of the sex, violence, and morally questionable behavior in it, though, they
never seem to want to ban the Bible.
