Once.

The damning evidence against the policeman in this case was not the hold he
used to restrain Floyd but the fact that medical assistance was denied.
That came out from a witness during the trial and I don't think it was ever
refuted.

If a medical professional identifies that someone is experiencing a medical
emergency, offers aid, and that aid is denied by the police, then that cop
is responsible for anything that happens as a result.
