Sure, Patriotism does run deep. 
My patriotism and loyalty to the USA goes much farther then simply being born
here within the U.S.  America is and has been quite exceptional and will
continue to be so. If it was not for the U.S. you could be speaking with a
German tongue and not by choice.  So many students choose U.S. Universities,
over other countries. Just because I believed in America First policies does
not that I have a hatred for any other country.
