He repeated part of the education lie later than that, during a talk about HBCUs during the lead up to the 2020 election. > MP> It sure isn't "reconsider(ing) one's statements when presented with > MP> evidence to the contrary," or "intelligent," or "mature." Evidence to the contrary in this case means he got caught. It was a lie about his own education. How could he not know what his educational background was? How could he not know that the story he told as part of his life story was not his? If he was telling stories about someone else, you might be able to use the "presented with evidence to the contrary" line, but these were lies he told about HIS OWN LIFE. That is like me claiming to be doctor, being told I am not, and then claiming that I have been "presented with evidence" that I am not a doctor so it was not a lie. The only way that is not a lie is if I have dementia or some other mental problem and have lost track of reality. * SLMR 2.1a * "My arm!", said Captain Hook offhandedly. --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
