I believe that this has done more than any other thing to wake people up and
piss them off.

The vast majority of people want to live their lives as they see fit, doing
what they enjoy doing.

Then the Ignorant Elitists seize power and want to tell everyone how to live
their lives.

We then realize that we have no choice but to participate, to a much larger
degree, in politics and watch everything our "representatives" do.  That takes
away from the things that we enjoy doing and reduces enjoyment in our lives.

And we will NEVER forgive the Ignorant Elitists for doing this to us.
