I would assume that "attempted" arson at a federal building is a federal
crime -- "attempted" only because the building was baracaded and their aim
was not good.

Ted and Ron may be thinking of a different incident than I, though.  I am
thinking of the federal building in Portland during 2020.

There was also another incident in 2020, but I am not sure which city it
was in, where a bunch of hoodlums in black outfits broke into a post office
and ruined several postal vehicles by running them into each other, into
walls, etc.  They videotaped it and posted it to the internet.

I never heard of any reprocussions of either of those events.
