I know too many people who either had to go without a car, or keep their
increasingly unreliable car longer because used prices were so far up.

I find it hard to believe that it wasn't part of their ploy.  Under the guise
of "getting big polluters off the streets", they actually reduced the
availability of cars for a good section of the population:  Which has been the
"green" sect's plan for a long time now.

But in this case, they didn't lie.  They did get cars off the streets, but they
hurt the lower classes the most while benefiting the upper classes.

They do many little things to steer the sheeple into believing their
propaganda.
