18 elementary school students and one teacher died today in a mass shooting
in Uvalde, Texas.

Elementary school students. The school in question served children in grades
2-4. That translates to 18 victims between 7 and 10 years old.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott called this "a horrific tragedy."

The same Governor Greg Abbott tweeted the following on October 28, 2015:
"I'm EMBARRASSED: Texas #2 in nation for new gun purchases, behind CALIFORNIA.
Let's pick up the pace Texas."

If the life of an unformed fetus is more important than a woman's sovereignty
over her own body, how is a single child's life less important that easy
access to firearms for everyone? If a woman can be prevented from buying a
pill specifically designed to terminate a life, why is virtually anyone
allowed to buy a "tool" specifically designed to do exactly the same?

It's because you're afraid of tyrants, isn't it? But then again, you wouldn't
know a would-be tyrant if he incited an insurrection to steal an election
right in front of you.
