Yes, as is CrashMail but it's not the choice of tosser that matters, it's the choice of message base format that matters. After a mammoth testing session the other day, I make the following observations: Tossers ------- [1] hpt and CrashMail will both create JAM and *.MSG message bases. [2] hpt will create a Squish message base, CrashMail will not. SemPoint -------- [1] Will not interpret a JAM message base correctly. [2] Will not interpret a Squish message base correctly. [3] Interprets a *.MSG message base correctly. In the case of [1] and [2] above, SemPoint adds garbage on the line directly below the origin line and does not show the first line of a message(s). The first line is usually, but not always, a "greeting" line. Support for external config files --------------------------------- AREAS.BBS - crashes SemPoint. GOLDED.CFG - SemPoint doesn't appear to do anything with it, i.e. no areas show up in SemPoint's area list. SQUISH.CFG - SemPoint reads it and automatically sets up areas in SemPoint's area list. I think that just about covers it so far. AA> But.. would it be sustainable for someone who is not too AA> programmatically inclined? No way :( Regards, Martin --- SemPoint 2.26+ * Origin: Mail Media. Do not expose to Flames! (2:310/31.3) .
