How did you find out about Alt+1 ?

Same results here, THANK YOU - but I get a blinking starry sky effect.

And, *any* other key press brings us out of the screen saver.

Screen savers like this are a kind of relic of the past, aren't they?  I  
concur wrt crt monitors.

Furthermore, the starry sky seems to operate annoyingly too fast - as if  
it was intended to work on much slower computers of days gone by.
