I see that you've been very busy test-driving OXP! ** 06.05.19 - 14:08, Martin Foster wrote to August Abolins: MF>OpenXP MF>====== MF>[CONS] MF>No support for USB printers. I thought that at least my options to select my *virtual printers*, CutePDF or OneNote2007, would pop up as choices, but they don't. BTW.. considering that OXP seems to inherit direct references to legacy LPT1/2/3 etc.. for configuration, maybe the hacks out there to redirect LPT# to USB# might work? MF>[PROS] ----------8<---------- MF>Twit filter. How do you do that? One shortcoming in OXP is the lack of overall Help Search. There is really no clue *where* to find certain features when I want. :( And some of the features that you cite could use a little more explanation like this: Autopost feature. [Automatic Message-Sending] = Edit/Autosend This is the list of messages to be sent auto- matically. The list can have as many entries as you wish. Note: All auto-send messages must exist indivi- dually as files on the disk. Autopost sounds very handy for the busy writer or sysop. MF>Open source(GPLv2). MF>Source freely available either by svn or by d/loadable ZIP archive. MF>Actively developed. MF>Responsive developer. Again.. all good! So, things like this would be great in the comparison table as extra notes. ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.38 * Origin: o,,,,o§ø`ø§o,,,,o§ø`ø§o,,,,o (2:221/1.58) .
