I like your application of the word: brilliant.  :)

Maybe the programmer had a problem transposing the templates into Netmail/.MSG, 
and decided to just allow changing the Area as a work-around.

Or.. something is *missing* in the message header?  I may be able to duplicate 
the original problem, if I remember the message I tried it with.  Then we need 
to identify the source of the problem.  Then.. 1 more bug for the WinPoint 
entomotaxy?
