Subj : [WinPoint] Editor annoyance To : Martin Foster From : August Abolins Date : Sat Apr 27 2019 19:11:10 Hello Martin, On 27.04.19, you wrote to All: MF> When the message editor fires up, it's always in a maximized window MF> which, for me, is far too big. Totally annoying (but I guess one *could* get used to it). Meanwhile, try this hack: [1] - Enter the keyboard combination Alt+Space Bar to open the system menu. - Type the letter "r" (this will reduce the size of the window that is apparently defined in the program, but you will probably want a larger window than that, so.. [2] - Enter the keyboard combination Alt+Space Bar to open the system menu. - Type the letter “s” - A double-headed "cross" pointer will appear. - To make the window larger/smaller, use the left/right and up/down arrow keys to resize the window to your liking. - Press “Enter” when done resizing. With repeated use, we *may* get used to doing [1] and [2] fairly quickly. Nevertheless, this one is a definite CON for "the List". Hope this helps! .../|ug --- WinPoint Beta 5 (359.1) * Origin: Reluctantly Revisiting Fidonet (2:221/1.59) .
