OK but you shouldn't have to do that, as WinPoint should have created all the root directories automatically during the installation. Here's what my directory structure looks like: ---------- 8< ---------- C:\USERS\MARTIN\APPDATA\ROAMING\WINPOINT +---BadPkts +---DistribNL +---Filebase +---ECHOLIST +---FIDONEWS +---NODEDIFZ +---NODELISZ +---Z2PNT +---Z2PNT_D +---Inbound +---Backup +---MsgBase +---Outbound +---Outbound.000 +---Outbound.009 +---Outbound.015 +---Outbound.018 +---Outbound.027 +---Outbound.07A +---Temp +---WinPointNL ---------- 8< ---------- AA> What I did during install is install the program on H:drive, and left the AA> program to use C:drive for its default directories. Maybe this AA> discrepency trips up the installation? In all honesty, I don't know but it could have something to do wiith it. You *do* know that WinPoint stores its configuration data in the registry? "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\New.Vision.Software\Winpoint" Perhaps it may be an idea to have a look in there to see if there are any clues?
