Yes, I'll do that but don't hold your breath ;-)

Yes it is but it's a bit buggy here 'n there and unfortunately the bugs will 
probably never be fixed :-((

I've never used the NNTP method with Thunderbird, perhaps you could consider 
posting some instructions on how to do it in a separate post.
