There can probably be room for improvement with the display (the GoldEd screen 
is only about 6.5" across and 3" high on my 11" wide laptop screen).

Not sure what you mean by "full access". There is just a very simple main menu 
screen to Add/Remove/List Areas and Send/Receive messages, and another screen 
that embodies GoldEd.   See my screenshots at:
