Are you aware that three different versions of the Fido nodelist are  
released each week, along with their corresponding nodediffs. One for use  
in Z1, one for use in Z2 and one for use in Z3.

It seems to me that you used a Z1 version of the nodelist as a starting  
point and that you're trying to update it with Z2 nodediffs. This is why I  
could reproduce the problem in my Windows install using your copy of the  
nodelist(Z1 version) you sent me. I've just tried this again but this time  
I used my own copies of the nodelist and nodediffs, which are all Z2  
versions. Just as an additional "stress test", I used an old nodelist  
together with 26 consecutive nodediffs to bring it up to date and there  
were no errors.
