In the case where you used the ANSI artpack I released a couple weeks ago as 
an example, I did not create that .diz either.

I do not, and will not alter any original files. I choose to use the .diz by 
default, and if there isn't one, it defaults to the description in the .tic 
file.

So all in all, the .diz can contain heiroglyphics for all I care, it will be 
hatched that way. You or I, or many others may not be able to read it, but 
that is the original file, and that is what is going to be used.

This has been my point the entire time.
