open the Startup folder under OS/2 System and the Templates folder there too, and right-click-drag the Program template over to the Startup folder and fill it out for each program you'd like to autostart, including options to start minimized and a host of other things

then download a collection of icons from a mirror of hobbes and set the icons to random things (right-click-drag the icon from the folder it's in to the "Current Icon" box in the properties dialog)

bonus points if you open the Solid Color Palette from the red System Setup toolbox and right-click-drag a color to change the background of the Startup folder to green.. hehe

if you're not going to use this stuff why bother running OS/2 at all? lol
