You can only run one instance of VMODEM on any given OS/2 machine, but it can 
handle multiple virtual ports.  My OS/2 system currently has 3 nodes running; 
1 real modem and 2 virtual modems, both of which can answer Telnet on port 23 
and VMODEM on port 3141.  My firewall accepts inbound telnet on port 2023, and 
forwards it to port 23 on the OS/2 machine.
