because sometimes you have to run OS/2 on hardware that is too new...

because sometimes you have to reduce your hardware count and still need to run 
OS/2...

because sometimes you cannot be playing games rebooting and switching OSes all 
the time...



i tried bootmanager one time and the only thing i found it good for was being 
able to boot to a maint install... that was also easily done with floppy... 
when my system was reinstalled, bootmanager was simply left off as unnecessary 
and undesirable...
