The biggest problem seems to be that the majority of people prefer to use
whatever is the current hip technology to communicate. I've had a few old
BBSing friends log in and create accounts for the sake of nostalgia, but
didn't stick at it.

Perhaps having a good local place to chat will help, and I think that until
they can log in with their cellphones, many won't get back into it.

Nice, I remember that program, but don't think it was one I primarily used.
