Hi All, 

I was wondering what life is like in NZ? 
ex-pats: how are they looked upon?

I will be on a trip there next year and my lady and I are looking for a
change and since we have a friend who has been there for awhile (we don't
communicate much, due to schedules), we think about NZ as a final stop. 

I'm an admin and work with computers and I wonder about the job market, or
even what importance income plays on social status. 

How does profession rank a person within social status. 

Is NZ expensive?
