It's good you have those things to help you get about. My grandfather had a
hip replacement and did one side but not the other. He regretted it later but
commented how much of a difference having a walking stick made. A good chair
also helped.

Hadn't thought about PRS radio but I do have a handheld that may do the trick.

Do you have any HAM gear? Perhaps we could chat via the national system
sometime on 2 meters?
