Of course I can not know every little detail from this test, so maybe my assumptions are wrong. But what I can deduce from the information provided, there is room for improvement:

Michiel sent his test message directly to 1:153/0 (which would be in the pkt header, so could be known by the receiving system), to be routed to then next node. Yet the trace response came from 1:153/757, which is an AKA for 1:153/0, but not the node it was sent to...
