It depends on the HFC cell size, but at least here in Austria you can get at least 500 MBit/s (in most locations you can get 1 Gigabit/s).

Even if you can get sat uplink.
It is a good technology if there is nothing else available.
But the latency is high (ranging from 45ms+ in low earth orbit to 600+ for geostationary.)

And cost is also usually much higher.
