While "echo" in CMD does not provide for including a control character in the string to 'echo' when typed on the command line, it does process control characters when it is used in a batch file. So all that is needed is a text editor that can enter control characters in a text (.bat) file. Cheers, Michiel --- GoldED+/W32-MSVC 1.1.5-b20170303 * Origin: http://www.vlist.eu (2:280/5555) .
