Are there mailers that don't use/need EMSI? FTS-0001 in paragraph:  D. Session Layer Protocol : Connecting to Another FidoNet Machine.
Describes (I think) a basic modem mailer protocol to exchanged files. Is that still in use and/or supported by mailer software these days?
