In the haydays of Fidonet I once had a sysop who submitted a pointlist with over 800 points that did not change over five years. He claimed that the list was up to date and correct.

I pointed out to him that a list of 800 people that does not change in five years is statistically impossible for the reason that people do not live forever and the chance that all 800 are all still alive after five years is infinitisimally small.
