My guess is that CSD is dead almost everywhere. It has long ago been replaced by the next generations of data over the air. First UMTS, then G3, G4 and now G5. All the ancient first generation devcices are long gone.

Indeed. Back then I knew where to find every bit in my home made computer that was connected to the VHF radio "modem". Those days are long gone...
