It may just as well be that the windows version of binkd does not handle service records. I can't rule that out yet. No big deal. I just have to pay more attention to non standard port numbers. Especially when I am playing nodelist police. Sidenote: I wish people would switch to IPv6, no more need for non standard port numbers, every binkd incantation can have its own unique public address.
