This has to do with the redundancy of my connection. For three weeks now I have an active FTTH connection. The cable connection is also still active.

The FTTH is IPv4 only, the cable is dual stack. The first host name, fido.vlist.eu, resolves to the IPv6 address of the cable connection and the IPv4 address of the FTTH connection. The second host name, fido4.vlist.eu resolves to the IPv4 address of the cable connection.

This takes care of both connection being actively used and there being an alternative connection in case one of them goes down.
