It must be assumed it is dead.
 
I have tried everything, I think, to reach R48 and figure-out the situation. Tried to get in touch with every individual node, tried to reach points, wrote in several echoes, wrote in the Fidonet facebook-page.
 
R48 already previously collapsed in 2013 and was revived by a new crew, but as it is everybody abandoned.
 
I will eventually be forced to remove it, but am reluctant to do so as it is the same as going to a funeral ... there's no hope for resurection unless you believe in fairytales.
 
Putting there a placeholder-RC "just in case" is futile as well ...
