As someone with European roots and origins, having lived the entirety of his life in Europe, I'm amazed you are capable of such an out-of-this world remark.
 
Maybe you weren't born yet in 1974 but I suggest you read-up on the history of the island of Cyprus and the mechanisms put in motion by pro-Greek and pro-Turkish groups which reulted in the 1974 invasion by Turkey.
 
Up till this date, 49 years after, the matter is not resolved. Many people have died over this.
 
And please don't give me the nonsense about technical grounds ... you've added a part of Cyprus to Greece which is an absolute no-no and which caused te 1974 war between Greece and Turkey, which was halted by the EU, but the conflict still exists.
 
Do not put oil on this fire and do some reading.
 
I instructed Ulrich to deal with it in this way and as far as I can see, he's doing an excellent job.
