Only IF binkp gets the information from the nodelist, it creates CNAME. There are other ways. See https://binkp.net/faq.html

Note the difference:

f5858.n460.z2.binkp.net is an alias for burrow.g0x.ru.
burrow.G0X.ru has IPv6 address 2001:470:dcd0:0:f1d0:2:460:5858

host f58.n460.z2.binkp.net
f58.n460.z2.binkp.net has address 46.173.80.50
