I can only say that I fully agree.

I am a bit puzzled about the added value of ISDN for Fido. It is my understanding that all that is left of ISDN is some kind of "ISDN over IP". Some of the older Fritx!Box models seem to offer this, so that one can still use old ISDN equipment at home, but the feature is dropped in the newer models.

X75 over IP is reported to be "not so reliable". To me it seems even more inefficient as a means of transporting data than analog modem over VOIP.
