A Pixel owner first reported the issue on Reddit, saying they were unable to call the emergency services number due to a bug involving Microsoft Teams, which Google has confirmed.

"We determined that the issue was being caused by unintended interaction between the Microsoft Teams app and the underlying Android operating system," a Google statement read.

The tech giants say they are working to resolve the issue ASAP.
