Subj : Really depends on what you are doing with it. Tasker allows you to To : August Abolins From : Richard Miles Date : Wed Sep 29 2021 19:51:27 AA> Wow. You are a power user. What kind of memory (and space) does it require? I couldn't spot that detail at the Tasker homepage. AA> I have trouble remembering to take my phone with me, so such a thing is not for me. :/ Really depends on what you are doing with it. Tasker allows you to lock it to a certain number of processes at a time. I keep mine at 10 or 15 if I recall. Use a pixel 5 at the moment and it flies. In the past some of the older androids I have owned it could bog down if you had anything super intensive running but it's been a few years since there was any noticeable usage. Just looked under memory usage. Over the last 25 hours the average men usage is 126 megs, highest at any one point was 300. It's #10 for memory usage in the last day, preceded by the OS, systemui and Android system (for over 1.5gb men usage), Google app, Google play services, the camera, Galaxy watch 4 plugin, Poweramp (my music player) and Life360. My pixel has 8 gb of memory so that 126mb isn't doing crap to performance. --- tg BBS v0.7.1 * Origin: Fido by Telegram BBS from Stas Mishchenkov (2:460/256) .
