 I run this as a cron job once a week. It all but replaces the the version
 on the default search path.

 The DOY still uses the 7 day interval. So you need some external
 handling for dailies.

For daily net segments consider

publish Today
make network xx net-xx   ; "master data file", No input data.

For regions you will have to be more creative,
