Gopher just rocks.

Such a simple protocol you can do such awesomeness with.

By the way, I like the CGO gopher client myself.

I also like nntp, but the Usenet has gone to hell. nntp is still very good for
following mailing lists on gmane's service. Just follow your favourite mailing
lists without signing up or anything, and without cluttering your mail inbox.
How cool is that?
