I have had mine since 2009, only had to change the battery. I would not be as averse to getting a new one, if it were for my lack of trust in the software. I don't like the idea of buying a product which spies and tracks me, or one that locks me out from being able to modify it. Also, the modern way in which software is handled is hatable. Apps, appstores and walled gardens. Yuk. My next phone may be a Linux phone, a free and open system. More than willing to sacrifice some functionality for a phone which I can mould and bend to my will. .... Dennis Katsonis --- MultiMail/Linux v0.52 .
