Subj : Crashmail routing - ROUTE and CHANGE To : rick christian From : Paul Quinn Date : Wed Sep 21 2016 14:48:03 Hi! rick, On 09/20/2016 09:25 PM, you wrote: rc> Or would rc> ROUTE "*:*/*.*" "*:*/*.*" 1:135/999.0 rc> OR rc> CHANGE Normal,Crash 1:*/*.* Direct Damn! You stopped! I was having a learning experience. I did wonder about your new ROUTE statement and was interested in the result. :) To my way of thinking, CM routing ought to be reflecting your binkD 'node' entries. Sure you could use default routing but the process really is: * establishing an agreement with another sysop; * necessitating a node entry in binkD; and, * then doing a matching edit in CM's config to follow that agreement. Wildcard configurations only work where everyone uses the same session protocol, i.e. binkP. Even default routing resembles agreements.
