I was actually looking at what it would take to implement compression support and noticed CAPABILITIES is required per the RFC. Ultimately, I decided compression is of little value on the fidonet side. If we were updating thousands of headers a day it might be worth it. But I did implement "CAPABILITIES" in the fork I am working on. It is just not exposed to the internet yet. --- * Origin: The Byte Museum - news: news.bytemuseum.org (1:19/10) .
