there is an option, yes... it is not buggy, no... it is forced on zone-crossing mails...

now, here's the sad part... those promoting leaving seen-bys intact are wearing blinders and looking only at fidonet and its use of multiple zones... they are not considering other FTNs at all and how gating from one FTN to another may be affected... in fact, it is rather sad that no FTN mail tosser has implemented proper gating of posts from one FTN to another... instead, ancient tools like blackhole are needed plus a "double toss" to get the messages across the boundary... that's only for gating from one FTN to one other FTN... gate that same area to more than one FTN and you add another gate and toss to the process...
