The FrontDoor editor has never failed BF> me once when investigating or converting message bases to and fro JAM. you cannot fix corrupted bases... not with FM, anyway... not and keep all messages... i had a tool that i wrote that allowed corruption to be fixed but it was extremely manual and required that you adjust the offsets of the fields and the pointer to the message body... it could easily fix corrupted messages but with a loss of data if it wasn't in the correct place... i don't even know where that tool is as it was just so much easier to bite the bullet and start the message base(s) over once new binaries came around... IIRC, you joined the FD beta team after JAM was introduced so you missed a lot of the fun we had testing the format at that time... as far as i recall, you were also the last FD beta member to join the team... good times those day... good times :) )\/(ark Always Mount a Scratch Monkey Do you manage your own servers?
